Walk the Labyrinth November 2011
We created a labyrinth in the sanctuary using long strings of multi-coloured beads.  We then walked the labyrinth path as a meditation, into the centre and out again, becoming aware of personal insights and meaning.

Escape to Create 2011
Branching Out to Dream, November 2011
Branches from the bush became the base for personal creations holding our dreams. The results delighted us.

A Meditation on Mandorlas, June 2011
We created mandorlas, an ancient symbol of overlapping circles representing a pair of opposites. The place where they overlap is a place of healing. We used paint, pencils, pastels, and collage in our creations.

A Meditation on Mandalas, April 2011
A mandala is a representation of wholeness.  We explored the harmonizing effect of drawing or painting a mandala using metallic pens, glitter, paint and coloured papers.

A Meditation on Our Place of Belonging, March 2011
We played with a range of techniques using paints, washes, tissue paper, and coloured pencils - scratching & scraping thick paints, dribbling and blowing watery paints. Then we cut and pasted our experiments to create a collage - our personal place of belonging.  Each was very different, surprising, and beautiful.
